The Wise Little Rabbit
Once upon a time, in a lush green forest, there lived a little rabbit named Remy. Remy was known for his quick wit and intelligence. He was friends with everyone in the forest, from the tiny ants to the towering elephants.
One day, a sly fox named Felix moved into the forest. Felix was cunning and often tricked the animals for his benefit. He soon set his eyes on Remy, thinking that the little rabbit would be an easy target.
Felix invited Remy to his den for lunch, intending to trap him. Remy, however, sensed Felix's intentions. He politely declined, saying, "Thank you for your kind invitation, Felix. But my grandmother is unwell, and I must take care of her."
Felix didn't give up. He invited Remy over and over again, each time with a different excuse. But Remy always had a reason not to go.
One day, Felix grew impatient and decided to visit Remy instead. When he arrived at Remy's burrow, he found it empty. A note was left behind, "Dear Felix, I've moved to another forest to stay with my cousins. Farewell!"
Felix realized that he had been outsmarted. He felt ashamed and decided to change his ways. From that day forward, he stopped tricking others and started helping them instead.
The animals of the forest learned two important lessons that day.
First, intelligence and wit can save you from the trickiest situations. And second, it's never too late to correct your mistakes and become a better individual.
And so, they all lived happily and peacefully in the forest.
The End.
Moral of the story: Intelligence and wit can save you from the trickiest situations. It’s never too late to correct your mistakes and become a better individual.
